Kids race: 10:00am start FREE!

XC race: NOON START!

Onsite registration only: opens at 9 am at the Mountain Top Venue, follow signs.


Race Course: New course starting from the Mountain Top Venue

Nearly all of the 16+ mile course is on single track. This extremely fast and technical course is full of large embedded rocks, tight slaloms, challenging rock gardens, and off the saddle down-hills. All expert racers will do at least a 16 mile loop. Sport racers will do at least a12 mile loop. Beginner racers will do a shortened 8-mile loop.

Kid's race: will be held at 10:00am Sunday morning just before the adult race. Young racers will be treated to a true "in the woods" kids course. All kid racers will receive medals and a hand dipped ice cream cone from the Big Bear County Store. Having the kid's race on Sunday provides a unique opportunity for the entire family to participate in a mountain bike event. Classes are ages 6 through 12, both girls and boys.

Start times: Registration opens at 9:00 am, Kids race at 10:00 am, Experts at noon, Sports at 12:20, Beginner at 12:45.

Classes: All WVMBA point classes. All expert classes will race for cash prize. Top 3 finishers in all classes will recieve a hand made piece of art from a local artist.

 Entry Fees: Kids Race free, WVMBA members $35.00 (must have WVMBA yearly membership & number plate), non-members $35.00 plus WVMBA one-day membership fee ($5 if you already have a number plate, $10 if you need a number plate)

Bike wash will be provided

Free pizza after race

Camping at the start/finish area is free to all racers. Rv, tent sites, and cabins are available at Beaver Creek Village.

To get to Big Bear Lake take I-68 to the Hazelton Exit (WV exit 29) and go south (left if you are coming on I-68 West, right if you are coming on I-68 East). Follow this road 3 miles to the guard shack at Big Bear Lake. Please be careful using GPS as they have gotten people lost in the past. Stay on the main road off of the Interstate, you can't miss the entrance that way!
